About Dillon Motor Speedway

Kannapolis,NC

The first event of the season for the Allison Legacy Touring Series wil take place this Saturday at Dillon Motor Speedway.

The track, located just a quarter mile of the I-95 at exit 193 has operated under the current ownership and configuration since 2006.

The track is 4/10 mile in length and considered to be a highly technical track with the tight exits in turns 2 and 4. The Allison Legacy Touring Series will visit the track twice during the 2011 season.

Saturday night's event will see the Legacy Cars take second billing only to the super late models of the Pro All Star Series (PASS). The track is anticipating a sellout crowd for the first event of the season with crowds in the range of 4-5,000.

The season opener will be Ryan Mackintosh's second trip to the Speedway with the first coming in 2010. Mackintosh collected an 8th place finish his second Allison Legacy Outing last October.

"I can't wait to get back back to Dillon this weekend",stated Mackintosh in an phone interview from the team's shop in Kannapolis. "I learned a lot there in October and hope to improve this time out."

Calling Norway

Kannapolis,NC

One interesting part of having a website on the internet is the review of the analytics. Website administrators can spend hours sifting through the data created by visitors to any site.

www.ryanmackintoshracing.com is no different. In any given week the vast majority of visitors come from the United States or Canada.  During these weeks the site does receive other visitors from around the world. This past week visitors from Russia, Guyana and Norway were amoung some of the international guests.

It is always interesting to think about who in Norway is visiting the website of a young Canadian driver living and racing in North Carolina. The data can't tell us who it is but everone at Ryan Mackintosh Racing and Chris Woods Racing would like to say,"Hello Norway and thanks for dropping by!"
